Another one of the legends of “Golden Age” Hip-Hop hits The Doctor’s Orders stage this month. With a style so sweet and smooth it saw him christened the caramel king CL Smooth is responsible for some of the best loved lyrics in Hip-Hop history with which he will be blessing the faithful tonight.

Making sure the homegrown talent does not go unnoticed he is joined on stage by the Micall Parknsun while Mr Thing celebrates his birthday on the first floor with the help from some friends.

CL Smooth is probably best known for his constant flow of genre defining mid 90’s classics recorded alongside his long time producer partner Pete Rock. Together they created some of the most dance-floor friendly soulful sounds that would influence pretty much every act that would follow them. After a brief hiatus from the game CL Smooth is now back recording and on the road to perform a selection of his classics and new material alike for his legions of fans.

Alongside CL on stage is one UK artist that who’s sound is influenced as much by classic Boom Bap sounds as it is his own life as a father. Micall Parknsun cut his teeth with often track stealing verses alongside many of the UK’s established stars and on stage as Jehst’s hype man. Now doing it for himself Micall has released one of the strongest albums this country has produced for years and will be sure to make the most of that tonight.

Over seeing proceedings as ever, the host with the most, Spin Doctor will be doing his thing keeping the whole thing moving along with a swing and a bang. Always happy to please the dedicated crowd with a selection of the best party sounds from Soul to Hip-Hop and way beyond he has played a huge part in establishing The Doctor’s Orders as London’s No.1 Hip-Hop Party.

Mr Thing has rocked The Doctor’s Orders more times than any other guest that has blessed the decks and for one simple reason, he always brings his A game and never disappoints. So we figured we should throw him a little B-Day party! He has picked two of his favorite DJs to represent alongside him on his special night. First up is Budgie who has made a name for himself at the ever popular Livin’ Proof where he blends rare groove & hip-hop with effortless ease. JP is an underground secret. His credentials as a record collector and dealer are undeniable and these give him a great head start when he steps to the decks with his selection a selection of platters that most can only dream of owning.
